  In the Table (the constuct of the thable) self it is not stored, thats right.
  But in the "Table Data" (the datas self based on the table construct) it is stored.
  On SQL NAV creates separete tables for each company like Company1$Item Company2$Item.
  On the Native it's an similar logic. Here the internal "Table Data" (you can see them if you check the permissions) is used.
