Hi,

My requirement is to get the Item Ageing report as per the actual bucket . I know there is a standard report Item Age Composition - Value, and quantity, but the problem with this report is that it runs as per the current date. i.e based on Remaining quantity.

But what i want is too see the actual ageing similar to AR/AP.

Example :- If increase for month of march is 100 and out of this 100 i have a decrease of say 20 then whenever i run a report with ending date as 31st Match then it should 80 as balance in that bucket .

Just require your suggestion , if there is other to generate the report.

Hello,
I build something like this few weeks ago, using ILE filtered on Remaining Quantity (<>0) and for those entries i search in Item Application Entry to find the initial entry of that Qty. For purch and rales return it was easy, but for transffer orders i have to look backward (in return ... unitl statement) till the initial entry.
You may do this for what entry in Item Ledger Entry you may want, and find the initial entry, and then, just calculate fifference between today and posting date of initial entry for records having remaining qty <>0, and the posting date of ur entry and posting date of initial entry....
Hope this will help u...

Dan

Hi both,

Can you explain in detail what you did to come up with the report? at least functionally and not through codes.

We use navision in the company but I use a different software for creating the reports so I don't have much knowledge in nav technically. And the item ageing report is really giving me the headaches. ](*,)

Would appreciate all the help that you can provide.

Thanks!
