This Tool is not implemented for NAV 2013 and not supports it.

I think that you doesn't need this Tool anymore with NAV 2013.
I mean that 2013 manage the NST for itself.
If you only will start the services you can do this with the services in windows.
There are very useful presentations to manage and configure the NST's with PowerShell in NAV 2013.

Be aware that you can't use port sharing with 2013. You can't use NST 2013 with earlier NST on the same port.

Kine has made an articel on his Blog for that:
http://dynamicsuser.net/blogs/kine/arch ... fault.aspx

Best Regards

Christian

**EDIT**
Sorry, now i understand your problem. I will test it as soon i can.

Can the tool perhaps be updated to ignore the NAV 2013 services as they are not supported. I realize I don't need this tool for NAV 2013 however I desperately need this tool to be available on my machine with 2009 and 2013 installed together. Right now I'm buggered because of the error that is generated from the 2013 services. :(

Is it possible to also support NAV2013.
Why?
-If you have a mixed environment (NAV2009+NAV2013), you need to use to tools to configure all.
-When we will have multiple builds on NAV2013, I think (didn't test it) that the native tool will have some problems because creating a new servicetier will probably take the installed build and not the one we need.

Love the new design! I love that it supports NAV2013 as well, very helpful and handy. =D>

I'm chuckling over the timing, as I just recorded yesterday a 'how to setup multiple 2009 service tiers' instructional video using the (now) previous version. I'll have to re-create it tonight using the new one.

This is such a nice tool. Thank you for creating it.

One very minor suggestion for improvement: I would love to be able to change the service name from 'Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server [database]' to something shorter, like 'NAV 6 [database]'. The longer name requires a wide column just to see the database name.

Oh yeah, I really like the new interface. It's a nice improvement over the old one. Thanks again!

- Zac

I like the new version but (you knew it was coming) 2 things. One how can I "remove" a column. I have tried everything I can think of. Two, when you "group" a column the groups are always expanded. It lookes like it collapses then expands right away. Am I doing something wrong?

I enable the FieldChooser in the next release to change the visibility of columns.

It could be that i have implement an auto expand. I look at the code and solve it in the next version.

Best Regards.
