I just started my Mibuso blog, and have started it off with Convergence.

Yes, MS is pushing AX as much as possible. But it costs much more to implement. I did read your blogs. Good stuff. Keep posting updates.

Just received a mail from Microsoft saying that the beta release for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 is expected in May 2012.

That is what they announced at the conference.
They were showing CTP4 and most of the presenters were using Windows 8.

CTP4 is only available for MVP's and TAP partners.

In a couple of months all the partners will have the beta. Presumably, we will all be the same level then.
The biggest new feature I am looking forward to is the report designer.
No more selecting fields for classic sections and finally being able to put data fields directly into headers and footers.
It is possible that if some features are not fully reliable, they may hold them back from the final release.

Directions will be really good this year since NAV 2013 will either be released by then or extremely close.

I never signed a NDA - everything I have posted came from open sessions at Convergence.

Davmac, you are doing a great job in your blog and letting those of us that couldn't be there know what is going on.
