Hi,

One of my customer is using Chinese character in the Item Description. All the systems were able to view the Chinese font except only one user pc (Windows 7). They are using NAV5 SP1 SQL database.

I've replaced the fin.stx for double-byte character in both Navision Client and ENU folder. But still couldn't view or type Chinese font.

When i asked the user to check Chinese language was installed, he said the Windows 7 natively support Chinese language. He was able to see and type the Chinese font in the other applications like excel, word,..

Kindly through some suggestions on this.

Does the specific PC have Chinese Codepage as System Locale (e.g Codepage for none Unicide Programs) in Control Panel, Regional Settings.?
Just setting the Display Language won't do it for NAV - (Yet) :), as it is Codepage based.

Hi Iceborg, Thanks for the reply. Issue solved after the Non-Unicode language setup in the Control Panel -> Langauage settings. Thanks again. =D>
