What's the difference between having Jet Essentials and this besides being compatible with NAV 2009 or over?

Jet Essentials is a powerful reporting solution with advanced features for Report Creation Wizards, Automated Report Scheduling & Distribution , Multiple Database Reporting ,Web Services with Dynamics NAV , Large Library of Pre-Built Reports and (Compatibility with NAV 4.0 SPI or later and other SQL/ODBC Compliant Databases, Excel 2003, 2007 and 2010.)

As Jet Express is compatibility with NAV 2009 and over, Excel 2007 and 2010 (without any of above features)

Hello,
Did anyone encountered this error message when installing JetExpress - "Error reading setup initialization file"?

I tried installing with "Run as administrator" on Windows 7 Professional (NAV 2009 R2 & Excel 2007).

I have tried Jet Express, very interesting :thumbsup:

I saw your post saying that, essentials having more features. I would like to give demo on this to be more interesting to the client. I have installed successfully, but I saw a message on Datasource settings window saying, "You are not licensed for this data source".

What should I do to proceed with designing reports, schedules and more?

Make sure that you have fin.flf file in Dynamics NAV Client Folder..

I have fin.flf here,
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\60\Classic

I have no issues when I tried JET Express, now with JET Essentials only I saw this message!

in fact, I have tried 2 parts of your blog for express

You need to buy Essential license from Jet Reports company :thumbsup:
