Hello,

we will install an odbcdriver on a win 2008 server. But the navision server is running on win 2003.
The odbc connection not work for qlikview.
I have installed the odbc driver for 5.0 , 5.1, 2009 and none of these works.

Now, we will change the installdirectory of odbc (program files (x86)).
is this possible and how must we do this?

thx

From your posting I take it you are using a 64 bits system?
I had some problems a time ago installing ODBC on a 64 bits Windows XP system. Installing, no problem but I couldn't get it working.
Navision ODBC is a 32 bits. For that reason you need to runthe 32-bits ODBC Administrator tool directly instead of the standard ODBC Administrator Tool that you find in Windows 64 bits.

Go to %systemroot%\Windows\SysWoW64 folder (Example - Click Start -> Run -> C:\Windows\Syswow64 and click on OK)
Locate Odbcad32.exe & double click on the file

Now you can configure ODBC

Hope this helps.
