We are using LS Retail add-on with Navision and IBM POS machines. If you want more information, please post your questions with more details.

I haven't heard of Pathfinder. We are a small shop in America that is looking for a system that will keep us running smoothly. We also need to integrate it with our online store and shipping.
What type of fulfillment services does everyone use?

In 5.0 Version, Using of LS Retail is the best option…

In India “Aditya Birla Retail “group uses LS Retail in all the store (Super Market)
They have 500+ Store across India

    I recommend LS Retail …

Im looking for a system that will work also when the NAV server is not running. Anyone?

    Dear mdPartnerNL,

LS Retail, Navision is the best option

Because anyways you don’t want your NAV Server every time you just need it in the Morning (While doing SOD “Start of the day” ) IN that process you need to update your prices and offers on daily bases if required

And 2nd time in the evening or night time when you need to do EOD “ End of the Day” in this process you need to pull the data ( All the daily transactions ) Billing or may be Transfer , Order etc

In LS Retail you just need your back office and the “POS” (Point of sale) running the whole day

Im a complete n00b at this. So have some questions for dummies :)

So in the store you have a local NAV client? Which is communicating with a NAV server a few times a day?

    Hi,

    Just read the question carefully

"Im looking for a system that will work also when the NAV server is not running. Anyone?"

In 5.0 Version of LS Retail why the HELL you want NAV server???

I can give you Example of more then 30 stores which are running without NAV connection and just on LAN connection

You just need the LS Back office and LS POS " For Billing Purpose"

I was under the impression the LSRetail is a module in NAV. So it's a system without NAV but which can synchronize with NAV data? any link where this is explained?

    Hi,
Yes dear you are right LS Retail is a part of NAV but we are talking about the SERVER
We don’t actually need connection at Server level
Ie- If you have 10 store we will only have 1 server at the HO level
And Each store will have 2 of 3 POS with one back office
