is there a list of all the users somewhere?
a list that can be sorted by different columns etc...(e.g. No. of posts, countries, name etc.)
I tried with usergroups but it shows only 100 users
Is it a modified version of the "Customer Top 10" report?

the admin defines the groups and these list. In phpbb you can define, that a list will all users can be displayed. But it depends on the admin if it is established.

The admin has decided that only 100 users can be displayed in that list. This to make it more difficult for spammers (or people who send private messages to have their questions solved) to obtain the e-mail addresses or forum account names.

I've somewhat figured it out...ok thanks 4 the explanation...only one thing to point out: i tried to browse registered users list ordered by country flag...and the top100 are users with no flag...i tried with descending order but i've the same result...is it normal?it seems to be a "next from hell" behaviour

If you want to know from where the users come, look at the survey results and/or the site statistics.
