Is it possible to change the sorting in a drop-down list.

I have made this in CustomWebPageRelation

'GÆSTEARRANGEMENT:EAN' : BEGIN
PGC.SETCURRENTKEY(Description2);
SetRelationTo(DATABASE::"Product Group Compass",DestRecRef);
DestRecRef.SETVIEW(PGC.GETVIEW);
END;

Specified the function 'GÆSTEARRANGEMENT:EAN' on Custom Table Relation.

But the drop down continue to sort according to the No.

Hi Carsten,

the set-up of the custom table relation looks right.

Because of some performance issues, the sorting does not apply on Drop Down lists if the "Search in Field" is set to "Both in one result-set". Because a new temporary table is created by the result set, this can be slow down the system on a large lists.
If you want to use your custom table relation with the sorting applied, please use one of the other "Search in Field" options like "Both (left first)" or "Both (right first)". Then, the sorting is set.
