Why does it seem that Microsoft made it so difficult to exports in to excel from NAV? I have been using SSRS reports for a long time now and really enjoy exporting to many formats on the fly.
I have a report that i am re coding to excel because i an not able to find a good excel tutorial with NAV.
The C/AL Symbol Menu was used for two fields in the report <Item. "Job Qty Remaining"> and <"Qty. on Planning Lines"> can anyone tell me what tables/fields these are in NAV. Or point me to a good step by step walk thru for excel exporting
thanks in advance

when you run your report you can file->export to HTML then open the html file in excel too.

if you need data from tables there are many "export to excel" options in the download section of mibuso

if you don't want to use the excel buffer.

I possess a interrogatory that i am re coding to surpass because i an not healthy to maturate a intellectual surpass tutorial with NAV.

    This is interesting.

Obviously it wont work here, since people are actively reading posts, but as it matures this will develop into a pretty smart way to spam. They can use the thesaurus to make each spam post slightly different and thus avoid the pattern recognition sites.
