I have an issue exporting data to Excel. After I send Customer ledger entries to Excel using the standard Excel function in NAV It changes document type "Invoice" to "Payment". When I export General Journal lines it changes Account Type "Customer" to "G/L Account. After data were exported to Excel I can't delete any column. I do not get any error message it just not allows me to delete any column.

    Same issue here with NAV2013.
It does not allow to delete a column after export to Excel (Ctrl+E).
Another thing. When Excel is left open and another list page is exported to Excel, a blank Excel sheet is given: No Data is exported.
    I didn't try this in 2013r2 or 2015 yet.

Have you tried it with the latest hotfix? There was one KB article on export to excel.

    Good evening,
I came across the same issue in NAV2015 and Excel 2016. I guess the Excel upgrade means that one has on the Data tab more icons than ever before. One of them, From Table, opens something completely new to me: Query Editor. Such Nav data in Excel can be updated, columns can be edited, by the look of it. So it seems to be a nice new feature after all.

I do apologise in case I misunderstood the original question/post.
    Have a nice day, P
