Navision 2013 Web Client touch screen implementation

Hi, I was assigned to create some touch screen friendly pages in Web Client, accessible via mobile/tablet browser or touch screen terminals.
The first thing that came to my mind was to put in buttons/links that is immediately clickable by the users to open other dialog/pages.
However, I found out that we are quite limited in placing custom buttons or links in the pages body content of Navision 2013 RTC and Web Client.
If I am able to put in "finger-friendly" buttons in the pages, it will really solve lots of problems.

The only thing that comes close is to utilize the ribbon buttons, it is workable but it just doesn't look presentable as all the buttons are horizontal, especially when you intend to put in 10+ large buttons.
Then, I tried and tested the add-in large buttons shown in this example:

It works in RTC, but sadly since it is a WinForm control it does not work in web client.

I have read several other posts, and will probably research on making add-in web controls via javascript.
I have no idea if it will work or not, I hope it does. [-o<
But at the same time, I would also like to ask if there is a better solution or suggestion?

    Build a custom webpage, and use NAV webservice from that.
    If it is simple procedures.
    Then you will have your freedom :-)

    Hmmm... pitty that it is just May yet... if you would need it few months later, may be you will have more options...

    You know guys, I will love to tell you, but I cannot destroy whole fun for Microsoft. I recommend to be on some MS event about latest versions to see it on your own...

    Thanks, that is indeed my last resort, but I am trying keep things developed within Navision environment as much as possible. :)

    Anyway, I wasn't able to explore further regarding the large buttons using javascript/HTML because apparently Nav2013 R2 is required for displaying the controls in Web Client, and I only have Nav2013 at the moment.
    Guess I am now forced to use ribbon buttons and group some of them in sub-pages.

    I look forward to what Microsoft is coming out with soon.
    I can wait for Microsoft but my customers might not wait for me. :lol:

    Typical thing: what you need just now will be available one month after you need to have it at latest...

    I cant help but to respond to this thread.
    Microsoft decided to remove control of UI from developers permanently, and that is its long time strategy.
    It is unbelievable to me that in 2015 if I want to put a simple BUTTON wherever I want (like in forms in old Nav) I have to create my own addin!?!?!?!
    Same goes for colors and font style - if you do not like one of 10 font-color combinations, sad day for you - use addins.

    Simply put Microsoft Nav RTC is the worst UI I have ever seen in my life. Clipper apps from 25 years ago looked and worked better.
