Hello we are using NAV 2009 classic

We have customized NAV report which populates data onto Excel and then Excel gets attached to Outlook (composing new email) but the email doesnt get it send as user would like to review first before manually sending.

Anyways, for one user the excel doesnt get attachment on outlook. thats only 1 user. I tried to find out the error is
Error status: 2302 Error description 'An Error has occurred while adding the Outlook attachment the attachments collection'

Please I tried everything but for that user it doesnt work

Thanks,
United Kingdom

So other users have no problem?
Did you compare the office-versions of the working and non-working clients?
Is it user specific or client? When you logon to the client with other username, does the error still occur?
Have you tried to reinstall Office?

    Hi Tino

Yes problem is for one user.
The office versions are same. All the users have same specs and softwares mostly.
I did not try reinstalling office but I tried reinstalling NAV but to no avail.

    Today I will try again.

We have changed the PC for that user and on that PC it works fine.

What I noticed that only that excel produced from the Navision couldn't get attached otherwise there were other excel sheet that user created could get attached to outlook, do you know what I mean? So the worksheets that Navision produced couldnt get attached while the ones that user created freshly could get attach.

So where I am doing wrong with export to excel and then attaching to outlook from Navision. That excel might be corrupt?
