Page Setup and Margins in Ms Dynamics NAV 2009 classic

Hi
I would like to understand from where the Page Setup and Margins are inherited in MS Dynamics NAV 2009 Classic.
When you run a report, then go to File > Page Setup, the margins can be defined. I want to know if this Page Setup / margins is coming from the default printer set on my PC or is it inherited from somewhere else / Navision.
Can someone provide me some more details on this File>Page Setup in Navision 2009 classic?
