Hi all,

One of my client wants a language pack for Japanese. I searched in Partner source but could not find a language pack for Japanese.

Is there any tool or way by which we can build a new language pack for Navision?

If anyone knows the procedure , kindly let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
chandru.

From Object Designer, you can export the translation by using Tools - Translate - Export. You can then translate all the objects' caption directly or by using other tools such as Mergetool. The FIN.STX file, however, it's a bit difficult because you need to edit and 'lock' them by using Microsoft tool.

Some languages such as, Japanese/Chinese, etc, aren't provided by Microsoft. However, local partners do have these language packs. You could also contact them for the language pack.

I do, but I can't give it to you. You should contact the Japan local partner such as PBC for the language pack.
