Hi, There is a balance in customer card and I wonder if someone knows how to find the high amount give period of times (Ex one year).

If you can tell me if there is a standard report or just give me some instruction will be very helpful.

Thanks,

Justin.

Isn't 10062 the "Top __ Customer List"?

sounds like they are looking for the highest open balance each customer has had at any point during the year.

looks like Report 10042 "Customer Account Detail" might be better because it has a running balance for the date filter selected.

It will take a custom report. Cycle through the Cust. Ledger Entries for each customer filtered on the date range you want and positive entries. For each positive entry set the Date Filter on the Customer equal to the date of the entry and calculate the Balance Due or Balance Due (LCY) and store the highest number in a variable such as this:

Code: Select all
If "Balance Due" > HighBalCust then
  HighBalCust := "Balance Due";

Another way is:
1. Add the Net Change field to the customer list
2. Set the date filter
3. Copy and paste to Excel

No report object needed.
