long renumbering

hi everyone...i am using the renumbering tool in order to renumber 800-900 objects (a 90mb text file)...it started on 23rd april at 15.30 and worked all night long...now, it's still working: as it's the first time i use it, i was wondering if it crashed or something...is it normal to take so long time?

P.S.: i have this case because i imported the "id mapping" from an excel file (i didn't check if i have the same IDs because i didn't think it causes problems)

Solution: delete the lines where oldID = newID. They are pointless
